2026 Genesis GV60 models come equipped with Qi-enabled wireless smartphone charging pads. Compatible with most wireless Qi-charging enabled smartphone devices, the wireless charging pad provides convenience with cable-free charging.

Setting Up The Wireless Charging Pad

Follow these steps to setup the wireless charging pad:

1. Turn on the vehicle: Ensure your GV60 is turned on, or to the “ready” state, and that all doors are securely closed.

1. Locate the charging pad: You will find the wireless charging pad in the center console, just ahead of the armrest storage area.

1. Check Qi-charging compatibility: Ensure your phone supports wireless Qi-enabled charging.

1. Ensure the charging pad is enabled: The wireless charging pad can be turned on or off by first pressing the Setup button. Then, on the infotainment screen, press Vehicle, Convenience, and then select or deselect Wireless Charging System for Mobile Devices.

Note: The Wireless charging pad can only be used if all doors are closed and the vehicle is turned on.

How to Use the Wireless Charging Pad 

• Place your smartphone screen up on the wireless charging pad.

• Position it centrally to ensure a strong connection to the pad.

• If using a phone case, you may need to remove it to prevent interference.

Notes for Safe Charging

• The instrument cluster will display a reminder message if a phone is detected on the wireless charging pad and the vehicle is turned off, or the driver’s door is opened. 

• If your phone experiences excessive heat due to charging or the environment, it is suggested to remove the phone from the pad and use a USB charging cable instead.
