What is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)?

The TPMS, a feature in Genesis vehicles, is a tire health assistant that constantly monitors the air pressure in all four tires. Here’s how it works:

1. If any tire experiences low air pressure, the Low Tire Pressure icon will illuminate on the instrument cluster.
2. Current tire pressure can be monitored at any time by using the corresponding TPMS cluster widget.

How to Respond to a Low Tire Pressure Alert

If the Low Tire Pressure icon appears:

After inflating the tire to the recommended level, the TPMS will automatically update, and the indicator light will disappear after a few minutes of driving.

Accessing Real-Time Tire Pressure Data

Drivers can view real-time tire pressure information using the instrument cluster widgets. To switch to the TPMS widget:

●        Switch the instrument cluster view mode so that cluster widgets are visible. Press the switch on the left side of the steering wheel, marked with a multi-page icon and a up and down arrow, up or down to change view modes.

●        Press the optical mouse switch, on the right side of the steering wheel, to edit widgets.

●        Swipe the optical mouse switch until the TPMS widget is selected.

●        Press the optical mouse switch again to exit widget mode.
