Here are a few things to know about how the system works:

●     The main controls are on the overhead console, above the front seats.

●     Symbols on the buttons indicate different functions, like manual on/off or automatic door mode.

●     You can toggle between automatic and manual lighting by pressing the button with the door icon.

●     If the lights aren’t turning on when expected, the system may simply be in manual mode or an individual light may have been switched off.

With just a quick press, you can set the lights to work exactly the way you want—automatically when you open the doors, or manually when you need them.

How to Set Your Interior Lights to Turn On Automatically

Here’s how to make sure your interior lights are set to work when you need them:

Step 1) Locate the Overhead Console Lamp (OHCL): It’s found in the center of the headliner, above the front seats.

Step 2) Look for the button with a door icon: This button controls whether your interior lights come on when you open the doors.

Step 3) Press the door icon once to activate automatic mode. When the button is lit up or shows the symbol, the lights will come on whenever a door is opened.

Step 4) To turn off auto mode, press the button again. This disables automatic lighting, and lights will only come on manually.

Note: Your rear dome lights may also have individual switches—check those if certain lights still don’t respond.

●     If the lights aren’t coming on, first check the OHCL door button—it may have been turned off by accident.
