Valet Mode lets you monitor your vehicle using Genesis Connected Services. To turn it on, use your navigation screen inside the vehicle and set a 4-digit Valet Mode PIN. Once Valet Mode is deactivated, you will receive a report showing top speed, driving distance and total drive time in the Genesis Intelligent Assistant app and on MyGenesis.com.
Blocks valet driver from accessing personal information from phone, navigation and other electronic systems.
Records time period, distance traveled and top speed achieved during Valet Mode.
Valet Mode must be activated from the vehicle but can be disabled with your smartphone through your MyGenesis app PIN. Valet mode PIN can be set from the HU and is not fixed.
Valet Mode will lockout if PIN is entered unsuccessfully 3 times. If you are locked out or need any other Valet Mode support, contact Genesis at (844) 340-9741.
You may be missing out on the opportunity to be offered lower insurance rates based on good driving. Additionally, if you decide to re-enroll your drive history will need to be rebuilt which could take two weeks or more depending on how often you drive.
