Updating ‘driver’s seat posture memory system’

This update improves usability by implementing the same getting in/out functions under various access conditions (digital key, smart key, remote start, etc.).

1.       The driver gets out of the vehicle.

- When you shift the gear to the ‘P’ (Park) position, turn off the engine and open the driver’s door, the driver’s seat moves backward to the position you selected in the infotainment system’s setup menu.

2.       The driver gets in the vehicle.

- When the driver’s door is closed, the driver’s seat moves back to its original position.

Updating ‘usability of electric steering wheel’

This update improves usability by implementing the same getting in/out functions under various access conditions (digital key, smart key, remote start, etc.).

1.       The driver gets out of the vehicle.

- When you shift the gear to the ‘P’ (Park) position, turn off the engine and open the driver’s door, the steering wheel moves to the highest position.

2.       The driver gets in the vehicle.

- When the driver’s door is closed, the steering wheel moves back to its original position.

Improving the accuracy of vehicle self-diagnosis function

This update improves the vehicle’s self-diagnostic accuracy for the electric steering wheel.

The accuracy of judging the electric steering wheel malfunction is improved, and a warning light is displayed on the cluster when a malfunction is detected.

Enhancing seat air conditioning function

This update enhances the vehicle air conditioning function and the smart heating/ventilation function of the driver’s seat.

When the vehicle is started, it detects the operation of the air conditioning system and automatically controls the heater/fan operation of the seats.
